I would love to attend as well. Quite flexible, can take the day off if needed.

iMac -> Benchmark DAC1 -> Pass Aleph 30 -> Quad 2805. Obviously interested both Isabella and Sig 30/70 when funds allow.
Sure, if you can make it great.
It will take place on Tuesday 29th unless Vinnie's plans won't permit.

Vinnie ,
do you have your new speakers cables ready with terminations??
I am asking because my Quatros do not accept bananas. Just small spades.
Amps accept both. If it is possible and not to much of a problem, can you bring one pair with bananas on the amp side - spades on the spks end and another pair terminated with spades on both ends to run Quatros in bi-wire setup. Also I do not have any balanced connections between my components.
I know that it is probably to early to ask for some constraction details and such but could you give as just a little hints what to expect.
Right now I am using Granite power cord, Morrow power cords, KImber Kable PC, Morrow interconnects all around and Vampire silver speaker wires.
I just received another speaker wires - Synergistic Reference. Will try them and see if they are any better then my Vampires.
PC listed are for those interested and are used with my amps, Quatros, CDP, DAC and power conditioner.
The gear I am planing to use for that audition (except Vinnie's gear) is:
Speakers - Vandersteen Quatro
Amp 1 - my own RWA Sig.30 Omega version (no upgrades)
Amp 2 - Consonance Cyber 800 mono blocks 78wpc (modified by B.Backert)
Preamp - Dodd battery powered pre - similar to Isabella
CDP - Consonance Droplet top loading tube cdp.
DAC - Paradisea tube dac
Conditioner - Quantum RT 800
Monster Cable voltage stabilizer
Quite lines filters
PS Ultimate 20A power outlet. as well as standart PS outlets.
Room will be temporally treated with acoustic treatments - combination of diffusers and absorbers. Front and back wall is cover with cork tiles to reduce reflections. Room is not to bad acoustically.
System is voiced for speed, detail, articulation, dynamics and slightly smoother not in your face top frequencies and spacious , liquid middle range.
Thanks Vinnie and all involved in this event.
