Cable Length

Is 9 feet of Groneberg IC too much distance from my Candela to my Mono Extreme SE's? I'm moving to a new place and am trying to put the amps in another room (through the floor) from my Candela. Thanks.

I have a 3 meter Groneberg TS Premium IC between my Candela and Mono Extremes and they sound great.

While i don't have gronenburg cables i'm running 3 meter KCI Sound bolts between my Rogue Magnum 99 and my Mono SE's with no ill efect. Should not be a problem i think.

As far as I understand Groneberg's Quattro Reference patented design copes very well with long distances, so I think you will have no trouble. It is a great performer.

Thanks for the responses. I feel better about my plan now. I have some 21 foot sections of Groneberg Quattro cable, formerly used as speaker cable. Can I use these cables to make the IC's ? Or is there some reason that once a cable is used for one purpose, it can't be changed for another? Thanks again...
