I just ordered one from the Cable Co. today and the sales guy (Paul) said that they were flying out the door. He said that I had ordered the last one that they had on hand, but I think that he might have been exaggerating a little bit.

No, ZooDog, I think that you did get the last one, cause I also ordered one (my second) the same day and it is backordered.

lonewolf42, I didn't notice much break'in with the HDXV other than it getting a bit smoother over a couple of days.

...my Ridge audition should be just around the corner, so why not have another digital cable on hand. Plus, as I said, curious about the "Hoopla" , and for 75 bucks - cheap !!

lonewolfny42,

i'm interested in your opinions of how the HDVX compares to the Ridge St cable...i've received my HDVX a few days ago and feel that it's a good cable for $75 but not spectacular...nothing to jump up and down about...yet...i still prefer by a large margin the original cable that the HDVX temporarily replaced...

i'll follow Chris' recommendation to put a little more time on the HDVX before deciding whether or not to send it back...

if anyone on the wait list for the HDVX is interested in getting one in new condition (used for a week) immediately for $75, please feel free to PM me...;)

Well MadDog, Ridge  Street cables not here yet , but I'll compare digital's when they arrive. I'm mainly interested in RS IC's and SC's. Seem's RS may be better than my Zu Cables....(reviews) , but time...and ear's... will tell ?  :)

"Curiosity" killed the cat   , order placed for 1m HDXV from CC in PA.
Has arrived (boy, that was a quick delivery - UPS ground). Thin cable, tight (very snug) fit on to audio connections, look's well built. I'll let it break'in...see how it goes. :D

Lonewolfny,
Please keep us posted!
What other digital cables have you used? An i2 I hope

Sorry Lak , no i2 ,>> got one to send me  << - Have been using a Canare DigiFlex Gold 75 ohm, tried Bolder Dig. in Audition pack. That's it on digital. My thought >>HDXV - $75.00 - why not try<< so I got one.
