Guys,
I had hoped Tim or Jason might have chimed in here to give you all an update - seeing I didn't attend the meeting.

But... until they do I guess I'll pass along what they told me.
Not a lot to say though... apparently they really liked the finish and style of the TP Minis mounted on the stands Tim made for them. I guess most were pretty amazed regarding the amount of bass they produced too. The room the Chicago group uses is fairly large and in comparison, the Minis are relatively small. Most of you have already heard all of this before though from our other customers.
As far as the rest of the sound goes, I guess the group was fairly "stoic" in their response. According to Tim and Jason, if you're any good at reading body language it wasn't hard to tell that they were all pretty impressed. The one real evidence to that fact was that almost the whole group stayed right up to the end of the meeting. Apparently they almost over-ran their allotted time because different members kept asking to have their favorite discs played and lost track of the time. Rumor has it that at most meetings folks start leaving about 1/2 to 2/3rds of the way through. Not this time though, so I guess they must have liked what they heard.
As you all can imagine, most hard-core audiophiles take a lot of pride in their systems and often find it difficult to accept that something else is better. I may be wrong, but I suspect that may have been the reason for the relatively "tight-lipped" response. Don't get me wrong, apparently they made some very positive comments along the way but according to Tim & Jason, there was sort of an "air" in the room wherein it seemed folks were holding back. Had they started leaving early I would have interpreted such a response as being "polite" so as not to offend us, but they're having hung around right to the end seems to indicate otherwise.

But what do I know? I wasn't there.

Just take the above for what its worth. Have a great weekend guys!
