Ok I started here
3BST to 3BSST

and took James and other members advice

And got stuck here
4B SST grounding issue?
http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=54870.0

Well I finally got to sit down to some serious listening with my 4BSST
All I can say is; anyone thinking about a 4BSST, Do it!
Really, I think that this is about as close as I’ve got to hearing into a recording, with all the dynamics and detail but with an ease and naturalness that’s hard to define.

Congrats!

I found that the SST amps are smooth, fast and clean sounding to the point that you hear every nuance in recording.  Not analytic but surely is fun.

Enjoy,
Levi

With some more listening under my belt I’m quite fascinated that the 4BSST is able to resolve and present so much more info in the base region over the 3BSTeven though I’ve got my Contours crossed over at 80hz with the Velodyne.
This comes as an extra bonus as I almost assumed that all the talk on the 4B’s control on the lower regions would be redundant having a sub and was one of the original reasons I had at first considered the 3BSST.

I concur. And my 4BSST is silent. No noise whatsoever.
