....  No single drivers though.  Thanks.

Hey!

What? Not Single Driver speaker? :? I was just about to recommend one..... nah! I'm just kidding. :jester:

Honestly although I've never get a chance to listen to lots of Single Driver speakers... only a few but still regardless of those speakers prices they didn't make me want to dump my speaker and buy them even if I could afford them. :D

Anyway, Single Driver a side.... I will second the GMA "Europa" that Chris/lonewolfny42 pointed out. I've heard this a few time at various Raves. And sound very good, easy to drive and the handover between the drivers are excellent... but not the last word in detail or low bass.

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

Buddy, I have nothing against single drivers after hearing your speakers, but my friend wants multiple drivers.

Paul...

These might fit the bill....from Audiogon...

GMA Europra Max

GMA Callisto

And....as mentioned....the Salk Songtower's are a nice speaker.

Thanks Chris.  I'll mention the Green Mountain and Salk speakers to my friend.

Personally I don't know any other Single Driver that I could really recommend yet, especially around that price. :? If I find one that sound like my own Ugly Duckling speaker I will let you know.

But do check out the GMA "Europa" :D

Take care,
