So who's heard the new ML CLX? A little surprising design elements, I thought.

My guess is the curved panel for the higher frequencies and the flats for the low.

Yes it does. It doesnt seem to be a crossoverless design like the CLS.

Shit Its supposed to a special speaker representing all their achievements and thats what they come up with! Was the design department asleep.

It looks great. I guess now the hunt will be ON to find a pair of subs so one can create a Statement e2 on the cheap.  :drool:

The CLX design is devoid of the 7" dynamic mid bass drivers that the e2 uses... , it has panels instead.
It might be a baby e2 with some ingenuity, if you add sub towers able to match the panels.

Crazy idea? Maybe, but still, why not!!!

I personally could care less what they look like..  How they SOUND is what's important to me.

I spent a weekend listening to them at MartinLogan headquarters in Lawrence, KS.  Here's my full review:
