Yes! Though I will spend a week or so with them in a lil while and wanted to wait until then to do any commenting. Since I know my system the best and can make some comparisons with my Merlin VSM Mxs.
The minis are a solid! speaker and 125 W seemed to drive them nicely.

BobM has them (on loan from LoneWolf LoanWolf) and Im sure will make some comments soon.

What? Only one amp in the house? What kind of audiophool are you Gene?
A little darker than my walnut Minis.

Lin
(just joking of course)

Hi Lin,

Yep, pretty sad isn't it? I'm trying to buy my way in this here audiophool club w/o any credentials at all. I get close to the complete package and then this happens. Maybe I could just use my Sony to break-in the mini's while completely disregarding what I'm hearing.  :thumb:

But then again maybe Bob has designed these babies to ignore inferior equipment.  :green:

Hi Lin,

Yep, pretty sad isn't it?

Actually I'm a bit jealous, life was simple when I only had components for one system.
The emphasis back then seemed to be more on audio and less on phool:roll:

Lin :)

Ooooh!

I like them in this color. Dark front and sides really suits them, I would say - the proportions are nice, too.

You're right. Dumb thought on my part.

The Sony's hooked up and shooting the mini's some juice.  :thumb:

I knew how much these babies weigh but that doesn't prepare you. They are not small speakers. I can't imagine how big the TP 3.0's must be.
The Mini and TP2 side by side....now you can understand Gene....38 lbs vs 65 lbs.

Bob's no fool. Gives me something to aspire to....when I get tired of the mini's. But when will that be?

Seems like the production line of mini's is really starting to roll.

I was afraid my old Sony amp wouldn't be worthy of the mini's. The opposite happened. The mini's are making my Sony sound better than ever.  :thumb:
