There are many possible causes of hum - I think psaudio have a pretty good summary on their website. Assuming you have eliminated ground loop, dc on the mains and any othere noisy electrical fixtures like dimmer switches, you may well have only two options left - either a saturated toroid because the electricity supply is "very good" or a distorted sine wave. [...]If toroid is saturated: use a variac and bring the voltage going into the D200s down. I bought my voltage all the way from 240vac to 210vac and all my electronics worked just fine.
