RAM question for Power MAC G5

Hey Everyone

I just bought a G5 Dual 1.8GHz -

Does anyone know what is the Maximum amount of RAm the computer can take?

Is there a major difference in performance between DDR2 and DDR3 RAM in the G5? (to all the people who have tried both)

The dual G5 1.8 GHz supported 1 GB of RAM per DIMM slot. It came with either 4 or 8 slots, and only supports up to DDR PC3200 RAM. These specs are, of course, manufacturer recommended.  :wink:
