Steven, Ever heard Nilsson's 'The Point'?...not driving music, but some of his best melodies, God Bless 'Im...

Alas, no but will check it out for sure :)

Breaking The Law[/b... by Judas Priest  :D

USETA love that song... then i got my license suspended for 3 months + hefty $$$ fine for reckless driving. Perhaps that is part of the reason i went 'full time' race car driving? No cops, no speed limits, and you are encouraged to pass everyone you can... and they don't complain about it to the cops (long story, don't ask). :duh:

Figured I'd add a some more.

"Love Is The Law" by the Suburbs

"Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" by Ten Years After (from "Ssssh") - very likely to result in a speeding ticket.

The whole of Jeff Beck's "Truth" album. Drove with some friends from NY to Boston many years ago (so long ago it was on an 8 track! - the album had just come out) and this was all that we played for the entire ride.

I'd have to third "Breaking The Law" even though it alludes to petty theft rather than fast driving.  The riff belies the lyrics, though.

How about "On The Road Again" by that one band.  You know, the guy with the bird-like, cooing, falsetto-ish voice.  It's funny.

Canned heat???  i love that song too. Starts out all mellow and cool, then gets to tempo in a fun/funky way. Whiney voice tho... still... love it.

Speaking of which, gotta go and see everyone Monday. Off for test session today at NHMS, the double/triple SCCA race.

Here he comes
Here comes Steve Racer
He's a demon on wheels
He's a demon and he's gonna be chasin' after someone.

He's gainin' on you so you better look alive.
He's busy revvin' up a powerful Mach 5.

And when the odds are against him
And there's dangerous work to do
You bet your life Steve Racer
Will see it through.

Go Steve Racer
Go Steve Racer
Go Steve Racer, Go!

He's off and flyin' as he guns the car around the track
He's jammin' down the pedal like he's never comin' back
Adventure's waitin' just ahead.

Go Steve Racer
Go Steve Racer
Go Steve Racer, Go!

(PS: i have the techno version of that song, has Trixie and Speed, well... fun stuff).
