Had a chance to see Margo Timmins and the Cowboy Junkies last Saturday night in a 1200 seat venue in Elgin ,IL.
If she isn't the definition of sultry,sexy singers , well I don't know who is.
They did a 45 minute acoustic set with a 30 minute break and then another hour of electric. All I want to say is Margo could sing me to sleep anytime she wants to. I have the ok from my wife.
They performed all my favorite tunes and yes they still are the tops at opiated rock. Mellow ,yes and when in the mood I always throw on a little Cowboy Junkies.
I was 20 rows back and in the sweet spot.
