Here's a relief to my neck:

lol thanks Phil

Stlrman: Yep, I love Maggies for HT. In a more open room like this, they just sound like a million bucks. I'll spare you the long drawn out "origin story" of how I fell in love with Maggies, and just say that IMO they offer a sense of realism and convey a "texture" to film soundtracks that is very hard to beat. I was sold on them very early on when the little entry level MMGs back in 2006 gave me the physical sensation that I was sitting in a canoe with Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. And yes, Im admitting to watching the Notebook, but I just don't care

It was very subtle...there was water sort of splashing up against the side of the boat that sounded so real that it combined with the large screen image to effectively transport me into the movie with them. My ears just connect with the way Maggies transduce sound and vocals. They seduced me ten years ago and our love affair shows no signs of slowing down

The projector is a Sony VPL45es...I picked it up a few months ago, along with the screen. It's a 125" Reference screen from Elunevision. Im typically more of an audio guy and tend to go cheap on the video side, but I bought this home in July and wanted something a little nicer.
