Kevin,What is the maximum amount of weight these things can handle? Can't wait to try these with those Maelstroms I have on pre-order!
Man these things are gonna be housewreckers! With approximately 1250 grams of mass, a pair of maelstroms with quad 18 pr's in 14 cubic feet (7 ft per driver), I'm getting over 123 db at 20 hz! That's with 1500 watts each before they are even brought in the house! I'm not gonna hear the end of it from the misses.
uuummmmm.....my livingroom! It's about 2300 cubic feet, but it opens up into a small dining area. It's gonna be insane! My current setup is a pair of 15 inch avalanches in sealed boxes with only 1000 watts for the two of them. Don't get me wrong, they are great.......but I couldn't pass these up when I saw their parameters. I just have to decide what amp to use. Will the maelstroms be able to handle one of those Face F-2000 tx's ? I've heard some raves about that one for sub duty.
What ballpark on price? How about weight?

They are twice the price of the F1200-TS and it is rare that Face has them in stock. I'd go with the F1200-TS because it is a good match power-wise for a pair of Maelstrom-Xs and cost is $785 each.

We have one in the que. It requires.... a 21" basket which is being developed with the Sicko-21". The Monster name was a joke by the way.
I'd agree with Kevin here; if it's any help, I've had one driving an old Infinity Perfect 12 for a couple of weeks - very, very clean amp - I've also tried it driving a pair of monitors; in my opinion the perceived SQ is better than my Emo MPS amp...oh wait, it's gone Larry
