Get more done in less time with human cloning

If you've got a tripod and a little patience, you can have a lot of fun with this effect.  It makes aiming speakers yourself much easier!  Give it a shot! :thumb:

Is that an SAS microphone?
Are those Tannoy speakers?
Is this a studio, with all that sound treatment?
Is that green shag? Is that you?

Good photo!

Yes, a woefully-underused SASS mike!  I love this thing, though.  I recorded some guitar with it and when listening on headphones to the playback in another room I could swear that there was another person in there, such was the psychoacoustic imaging. :thumb:

Yes, Tannoys.  I forgot the number.  I think it's DMT-10 or something.

No, just my 2-channel listening room.  It doubles as a printer room currently.  I loooove my foam!  It makes for instant peace and quiet, if not necessarily even bass response, but
the room is nearly square so you can't win.

Yep, green shag indeed.  I think I may have overdid it on the green desaturation for this photo.  It's actually brighter and more yellow-green than that.

The figures shown are elaborately constructed wax sculptures with poseable internal metal armature.

Hey!

That is a good one Nathan!

Now this will come in handy when setting up speaker.

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

So do I place my order for some clones through you or a sales rep?

Cool picture btw.  8)

That's amazing.  I mean, those suckers almost look REAL.  Almost.

The best part is the interplay between the seated you and the you standing on the left.  I don't think the seated you has much time for the standing you's point of view.  He's giving the standing you the same sort of look that I give me when I argue with myself in the mirror:  "Your ability to be completely and irrefutably wrong is annoying - but your total ignorance of the extent of your wrongness makes me despair for the future of our species."
