These Amps have the Std black finish and red boards and were built to the same specs as Alex G's personal pair.
I recently purchased them from an AC member and while they are excellent, I simply can't be swayed away from my tube mono blocks.
I will conservatively rate the amps a 7/10 on the Audiogon scale. Each amp has a few small scuffs (mostly on the back panel near the binding posts), but look pretty good. Also, one amp's binding posts are just slightly bent. In no way does this have any sonic impact, but I just want to fairly represent everything.
I have the original boxes and will gladly ship them anywhere in the continental US at the buyer's expense. I prefer to use FedEx, but will ship UPS if the buyer requests it.
I have perfect feedback on Audiogon (with lots of transactions) under the same username as I have here on AC.
If you want to use PayPal, please add 3% to the final cost. Otherwise, I am fine with a money order or personal check. For a money order or personal check, I will require that the funds clear at my bank before I ship the amps out.
Lastly, I respectfully ask that we don't turn this thread into a comparison of other amps, or a discussion about what I liked or disliked about the Mono Extreme SE's.
These amps and Klaus have an excellent reputation (deservedly so) and there is a ton of information over on the Odyssey Audio Circle here at AC.
