I didn't realize a couple of those places (like Welbourne labs) were local.  I'd love to see who else comes - maybe AV123 will join in.

If you come out, we'll special order you some.  :o

This is awesome as far as I'm concerned. Nothing like a 5 minute drive to an audio show.  :thumb: Hopefully lots of folks can make it out. Early October is a damn nice time of year in Colorado.

Just a Heads Up,
I received Audio Unlimited's recent news letter mainly about
Audio Fest in October.
They are sponsoring a concert Oct 9 with Patricia Barber w/3-piece band.
I think this is great news.

Very cool. It doesn't say exactly where Patricia Barber will be performing but her website shows her at the Sheraton Ballroom on October 9th. There is a Sheraton in the DTC area very close to the Marriott where the show will be.

I just checked the Audio Fest website and the exhibitor list is mighty impressive. For all you fence sitters out there get off your butts and start planning on attending the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest.  :!:

I hope to meet a bunch of you guys there, and put some faces with the names.

We have rented two rooms, and may have products in another room or two also.

Several of our clients will be there as well, including Epiphany Audio.

Sounds like it will be a really good show. It will be here before we know it.

Definitely a great crowd.  I'll be out there for at least one day, maybe two with that many rooms to check out.  I'm curious if even more audio company folks will be there as attendees.  I've tried to get a couple to show, but I don't think I had much luck.

I've never been to an audio show before, but hope to make this my first one. I don't live too far from DTC and I have to see what days I can get off from work, hopefully at least Friday and Sunday.

Donovan!
Don't "hope"!
Do!
 :!:

You're right in town!
I'm trying to get there from St. Louis area and am having a devil of a time getting a codriver.
Wife went with me to the first MidWest Audiofest in Ohio, and we both had a ball, hearing gears that don't come our way very often as well as folks I'd heard of or typed at.  Talk to the pros like they are real people and we're somebody too!
If you are into this hobby, you will experience a certain manic glee I can only remember when my folks would park me in the Sears toy dept 45 or so years ago, at Christmas!

Well,,,,you oughta go.

I'd hope to see you there!

Regards,
DeadFish

(thanks for letting me rant)

Good for you Donovan!

Me too!  My wife is letting me go for my birthday.
(I'm *really* gonna owe here when I get back!)

Has anyone discussed some way to know fellow A/C 'ers?

Might be nice to quaff a few with folks we've typed at.

Look for another long-haired old fart having TOO much fun.

Well, of course I was *too cheap* to buy an A/C shirt the first time around.

Maybe I can wear my shirt with a big red bullseye on the back, and if anyone asks, it can be a 'mutant audio circle.'

Well, I'll tell y'all exactly as I used to put on my home made computer Xmas cards on the back way 'back in the day', where I actually started using this 'nam-de-'net'.

"If it has that smell,
It must be a Dead Fish!"

 :D

Naw, I'll shower first....hehehe
