In the Land of the Tubites, George Wright's 2A3 3.5s look small but walk tall. These have been chercely upgraded with Black Gates and Auricaps and the installation of a constant current source mod, which keeps the tubes happy.

If the SET bug has been buzzing in your ear, you can fly to the top with these hummingbirds: light, life, loveliness. OK, so you don't want to take my word. Ask Mr. and Mrs. Google. They'll tell you.

Amps will come with two pairs of 2A3s (Sovtek and Valve Art), OS 6SN7s, and a tres beau pair of absolutely cherry NOS Mazda 5Y3s (as good a 5Y3 as I've heard). Sovteks test in mid-range; all others are new or test as new, so you're basically getting a new complement of tubes and an extra pair of power tubes with lots of life left. In very nice condition, but a little surface rust on the transformers, more visible in flash photo than you'd see in ordinary light.

I have an offer to sell to someone overseas, but mah druthers would be to keep these guys homebound, so here's my last price reduction before they go across the pond. This is the kind of price you see for stock amps with tubes of, shall we say, a certain age. These fellas have pricey upgrades and come with a set of tubes that test new/strong and an extra pair of 2A3s that still have lots of good life to 'em.
