If anyone is interested, tenor Scott Kennebeck will be giving a recital at Christ Church Cathedral (1210 Locust, downtown) on Sunday February 17 at 2:30 PM.
The recital is part of the Cathedral's Shepley Concert Series and will feature works from sacred oratorio, opera arias, Broadway hits plus what has been described as a "few surprises." The recital is free, but an offering plate will be passed to accept contributions for the Shepley Program of Music and Art. More info is available by calling 314-231-3454.
For those who don't know, Scott is a rare treasure in St. Louis. He is the principal Cantor at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis (i.e., the "New Cathedral") and is tenor section leader of the Cathedral Choir. He is simply a joy to hear.
