Steamy love affair! Anyone interested? SOLD!

I'm selling a piece of my audiophile gear that I thought I would NEVER EVER SELL.

It's a Quicksilver Audio Remote Tube Linestage - uses 6DJ8/6922 variants - Currently running with vintage NOS JAN Phillips in the tube section.

The unit is FLAWLESS and I went over, under and sideways to find nary a single mark, scratch dent or hiccup.  The unit is both cosmetically and functionally PERFECT.

The sound you ask?  This is probably the best way I can put it to those that enjoy to "indulge" in the occassional alcoholic beverage - You can sit back after dinner and enjoy the '64 Port after that delicious Filet Mignon and Shiraz feast, you can pour that gorgeous Cab and listen to her while that bouquet continues to open up, you can crack open a Stella or pour a heady stout and listen to the Stones, Floyd or Freddie belt out the Bohemian Rhapsody right there in your living room.  I have also had the pleasure of taking her with me to listen to Miles, Canonball, Joabim (Astrud was there too) and Getz.  Plays Sinatra like no other.

Now, call me crazy but there were days in the past when a malt beverage had crossed my path and I have definitely had no problem having EPMD, Eric B. and Rakim, Public Enemy, KRS-one and all The Roots come and play for me in my cozy home thanks to my relationship with this amazing Quicksilver pre amp.

She does it all, simply and unabashedly adding just a touch of romance to the music no matter what genre.  Pair with more tubes and fall in love with her just as I have - or put her in front of some solid state gear and hang on for the ride of your life.  She is THAT good.

I have priced her low for a quick and fair sale.  I prefer cash in hand but can accept paypal as well and will respond with inquiries with your number included faster than those without.

Honestly speaking, I prefer her voice vs. my current pre-amp but the new gal's got a coupla other things that Q doesn't - and THAT'S the only reason I'm selling - if I had another room I could use her in, believe me, she would be there right now but alas, the storage room isn't where she beloings.  She belongs with someone who will love her as I did - she deserves the best and better than what I can give to her right now.

If you're still reading this you either think I'm a raving lunatic or have already started to fall in love with her too.  You can tell, I will not let her go to just anyone - hey, separation anxiety exists.

So, the ONLY flaw is on the remote control itself.  It's a simple up and down volume control but some of the sticker is peeling.  Other than that, you would be hard pressed to tell this from a brand new unit.

You can read up on her, Mike Sanders of Quicksilver is still pumping these out at $1600 a pop with decent tubes.  The parts are all top quality and simple yet extremely effective.  For home theater buffs there is an HT pass through, which I've never wanted to use, is very effective for folks that want a great HT and 2 channel rig in one.

Quicksilver is still very much in business and alive and kicking tail with all their products.

So there goes my love story...live it through someone else or make your own memories with her - lucky sonofagun

Ships from 94544  Hayward, CA - I will pack and double box - I've got remote, generic cord and manual

I'm asking $OLD! for a quick sale - the unit itself would rate a solid 9/10 but I would rather rate 8/10 since I'm the 2nd owner and the remote, though perfectly functional, has the little peeling sticker issue.

Locals are welcome but I don't have it in a system at the moment but can guarantee it is 100%!

Thanks and happy listening.
