My last shamless plug...promise!

UNDOING, an independent film I executive produced, is being released on DVD on March 11, 2008. And in addition to the feature film, DVD extras will include:

For those with HD-DVD players, we are in discussions for offering an HD-DVD version of the film TBD. As the film was shot in HD, it should look fantastic on this format. The film has been noted for its very unique visual style...

FYI - our HD-DVD deal is dead, primarily as a result of the industry pretty much dropping the format. We're looking for a Blu-Ray deal, but it's WAY more expensive, and for an independent film production, probably out of our reach...

So the DVD was released last week, and it looks like we've done fairly well...initial (small) orders at Amazon and BestBuy sold out and are now backordered (hopefully more people buy so that they order more!).

As an incentive, I'll give away a Blue Circle BC86mk3 Noise Hound to the first person who identifies me in the Behind-the-Scenes extra (either via the time into the video or by quoting what I said in it)...

(btw - I just saw the final transfer of the film for the first time last week. They did a pretty good job. This is a film that will test your TV's black-level performance pretty well)...

I watched Undoing the other night.

A simple but complex movie I am going to have to watch it again to get a little more of the nuances of the movie. The atmosphere and lighting fit the Characters perfectly. I really got the impression that the characters were uncomfortable in the daylight as night people usually are. A brooding visceral slice of life. I want to see what Chris Chan Lee could do with a bigger budget.

First I would like to thank Phil of http://www.sonicspirits.com/for the Blue Circle BC86mk3 Noise Hound. I put it in system with the snake oil alarm going off but the Blue Circle BC86mk3 Noise Hound works So far i have resisted the urge to take the cover off to see whats inside

Definitely a nice tweak

If you have not gotten a copy of this movie get off your duff and get one. Unless the only thing you want to watch are those mindless summer blockbusters YOU and I need to support the independent film maker by purchasing there products.

Great! And while it does have some moments of LFEs, it is more likely to challenge your TV's black-level performance as there are a lot of dark scenes...

My projectors lamp is getting very old, so black levels aren't much of a challenge for it anymore.

Good to hear on the LFE's. I'm always looking for new reference material.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, the soundtrack is available at CDBaby. Check it out! The music is very good IMHO and is recorded pretty well (not superbly), too...

(fyi - sales of the soundtrack go wholly to the composer, not the filmmakers. This was one of the ways we were able to get such a talented composer to work on the film without paying him much...!)

I didn't realize that Ceiri Torjussen has so many other credits to his name

He has scored six feature films to date. In 2006 UNDOING, a noir-thriller, premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival, and MENTOR, starring Rutger Hauer, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Most recently he composed additional, heart-thumping action music for the 2007 blockbuster, LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, starring Bruce Willis. His music demonstrates an expansive creative range and versatility, being at home in many arenas, including horror (DRACULA III: LEGACY, SOUL’S MIDNIGHT, and additional music for UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION) and comedy (FUNKY MONKEY and additional music for SCARY MOVIE II). No stranger to television, he provided additional music for the WB TV show GLORY DAYS, the CBS network shows COLD CASE and CLOSE TO HOME, and for the series DEAD LIKE ME, on Showtime. Torjussen has also worked extensively in animation, composing music for high-profile animated shows such as NI HAO KAILAN (Nickelodeon), and for Mike Young Productions’ MAX AND THE MECHANICALS, THE MR. MEN and DIVE OLLY DIVE for which he received a 2007 DAYTIME EMMY NOMINATION for Best Original Score.
