Hi,

Now it's time for a "newbie" question:

Does Stan Warren have a web site? I've been reading so many references to him here and on Audio Asylum, but i haven't managed to find him using Web Ferret or Google.

Thanks.

I meant to mention that i found some information on the "History of PS labs" site, i have to admire anyone who tries to anchor his turntable in bedrock, even if it was only dirt, and in California to boot! <grin>

I'm thinking about having my Sony SCD-1 modified, so i'm gathering information on the various mods and "mod'ers" out there.

IMHO, Stan Warren is the best modifier in the business bar none :!:  As far as I know Stan is the only modifier who offers a true state of the art  proprietary gain stage that is equal to or superior to anything out there at any price :notworthy:  Stan also charges waaaaaaaaaaay too little money for what he offers

With the above being said, as Doug has mentioned, many of us have waited 6 months or longer for our mods to be completed :banghead: .  I guess that is the price that most of us are still willing to pay for genius level modifications at rediculous low prices.

In the end it is always worth the wait but gosh darnit, I'd be willing to pay Stan double his current mod rate if he could actually deliver mods with a much better turn around time. If there were only more Stan Warrens in the world    ....then again, how would companies like Krell and Levinson survive
