Acoustic treatments for my new band room?
«

Can anyone hook me up with an amazing deal on acoustic absorption treatments for my band room? Free would be nice. I am applying for grants to get the room treated and most of the grants are for $200 to $1,000. I have several pieces of acoustic treatment from our local GAS acoustic treatment guru. They may end up in the band room if necessary. I will take any and all advice. We will not ever be able to spend the money needed to get this job done "right". I just need something done soon. The front row can't hear the back row, and my ears are paying a hefty price. The previous director in my job left the job because his doc told him his ears were fried. I don't want that to happen to me.
Thanks in advance.

Give me a shout Mike.
If you want free, I always end up with some 2nds out of a box. It's nothing fancy but it will help. A little $1 per yard muslin and a sewing machine and you're good to go.
