The new Kuros need very little in the way of calibration. All we did on our demo was turned the brightness and contrasts down. ISF will add a little but for most people it's not really necessary on these sets

Just a word of caution. Do not buy a plasma if you watch a lot of show with stock tickers or you play a lot of video games as burn-in is inevitable on plasma display with static images.

The risk of burn-in on current generation plasmas is less than on a CRT. The risk is there, but it's far less than it was with the early plasma models. Simply exercise some reasonable caution, just like you should for a CRT display, and there will be no problem with burn-in.
