AKG701's with Woo Audio 3

AKG701's with Woo Audio 3

I'm wondering if anyone out there is using a Woo Audio 3 to power AKG701's?  Is this a good match (I have the AKG's but am trying to find a good amp)?  I currently have a X-CANSv1, and am wondering if the Woo would be a big step up with these headphones.

Hey Dunno for sure but I think you'd be better off with the 3+ since it was designed to handle lower impedance cans.  I've heard it is a great match.  I use a modified 6 with sennheisers and I am very pleased.  :)  Talk to Jack.  Top notch guy with top notch products!
