I am entertaining the market with my Ronin RMD's that have the Plate amplifiers.  These have a custom built rear-firing ribbon tweeter with multiple settings including an off-switch to create more ambience/upper dispersion.  They also have various tweeter levels for the main tweeter to tailor to your taste as well.  Lastly, they have the plate amplifiers providing 500 watts a side while giving you one set of binding posts for a main amp to drive the top end portion of the speaker. 

Nothing has been modified or tweeked and the only thing that makes these a bit different is the rear firing ribbon tailored precisely to match the rest of the speaker's response. 

They are finished in a glossy light colored Bamboo, though one could likely have them sent off to Nomad and have them Veneered in the flavor of choice.

These have been babied and have always been properly kept.

Price: $4000 FIRM+Shipping Costs.

I will not entertain any price lower than this.  You are getting basically $6000 speakers (with the rear firing ribbons) at 33% off.

You are also getting the very best speaker I have ever heard to date, and though I have not heard them all, I can say with a fair amount of certainty, that they can hold their own with some of the very best on the planet, period.  I do not like to post these for sale because it in no way reflects how I feel about them.

Reason for selling is not to upgrade since I wouldn't know what to upgrade to.

Any pictures please, as you have a different Ronin than what most AC'ers know? What brand/kind of ribbon is it? Fountek? Raven?

I will have to get some photos of them right now, but I am able to take some for you.  These are the Bamboo based natural finished in gloss version (the lighter looking of the two bamboo wood finishes). 

Shipping is extra and will be handled as cheaply as possible without sacrificing any chance of them being damaged in transit. 

It may even make sense to take out the drive units and package them individually if the buyer is comfortable with re-mounting everything back together, and then  wiring them up accordingly.  If this option was exercised, I would label each and every wire/terminal so the buyer knows exactly what goes where.  I think crates with the speakers sent off fully assembled as they have been would be the best option in spite the cost may be greater.

The ribbon is an Aurum Cantus G2Si facing horizontally due to its dispersion characteristics.  It has the greatest dispersion of all Aurum/Raven ribbons.  I consider the Aurum/Raven Ribbons to be the very best in the smaller sized ribbon based transducers (not to say Fountek is not a very capable driver).

Paul might be able to make those flight cases available.  I used those to ship the demo pair in and out of my area last year.  They are about as robust as you can get.
