Perhaps, but - 1/ I was asked to review the Vault and I said yes; 2/ no way am I gonna use my work computer for audio and load down its hard-drive with music files. Not gonna happen. My computer was specifically built for my computing needs and if I got into computer audio, I'd get something built to spec to optimize server functionality and leave off all the other stuff not required for that
Danny,We need to hear how the Modwright Transporter compares to the stock Transporter! Will you be reviewing the TP?Thanks,Bill
Our finalized review just posted (leaving plenty for Danny to cover)
Anyone,Can the ModWright Transporter still be run off its xlr balanced outputs? Does the MW TP retain the benefits of its original balanced design and output after the transformation into the new tube output stage MW version? Thanks,Bill

It's the preferred connection for that reason.
If it were a coin flip, I'd use the XLR's.
