Can anyone tell me if I'd lose much by going with the 26 db gain version of the Channel Islands D-200 instead of the 32 db version with the Timepiece 3.0's? I found a used pair (26 db model) for a good price. I'll be using a Sim Audio P-5 Limited Edition preamp.

The 26db model is the correct one.  The 32 db model is designed for passive pre amps.  The Sim Audio is a class A active design.
