Art, thanks to you and you're gracious wife for allowing me into you're home.  You're system is absolutely wonderful, and I really enjoyed myself.

To cut to the chase, the GS-9's are phenomenal.  They are one of the best bargains out there in terms of bang for the buck!  And I will be getting a pair ASAP!!

I have posted a  full review of the LS-9's over at the critic’s corner, under speakers.

Again thanks Art for you're time and kindness, you're a very classy guy.

Paul, it was our pleasure having you guys, and what a great write up you did, thanks for the kind words about the system.  You are welcome anytime, and I expect to come hear yours when you have them in and running!

For those of you around here who know me, let's not correct Paul just yet on the part where he says I'm a classy guy....let me enjoy it for just a minute!     He obviously meant to say that Kathy is clearly classier than I am, I married above my head, and I seem remotely classy only through my affiliation with her... 8)

I am impatiently waiting to hear the 9s.  I am in the midwest and could do a drive to Jam 'n Audio.  My ears seem to be in sync with Joe's listening preferences, so I would feel comfortable in his environment.

My current speakers are the Piega TC 70-X and the Gemme Audio Tanto, so one can conclude I value coherence.  Different speaker design vs the 9s , of course.

I did hear the ESP Concert Grand at a stereophile show in the mid 1990s and thought they were my favorite speakers at the show.

If I hear the 9s, I somewhat hope I don't love them.  I would hyperventilate over motivating the muscle to deal with the speakers.  But if I really like the sound, I am resigned.

I spoke with Danny about the 9's that he had at RMAF last year.  I told him they do one thing that VERY few other speakers do no matter how good they are.  They just sound effortless.  They do anything and everything that is asked of them and do it as though they're just loafing along.

I think you're going to be resigned...

It won't be long now  It's the burn-in required to get them ready for audition that's the killer. Just ask Art.

For those in the North East, I will let everyone know when mine are completely burned in and ready.
