To resurrect a question from the original opening post of this forum, any news on whether the EM7-2.5 model can be "upgraded" to the EM7-5.0 or EM7-12 models? And if so, what would be the cost?

Yes, we have the kits available. It includes a new power transformer and goes for $175 if you return the original power transformer. The 5.0 has negative grid (adjustable) bias and you need a meter to set it.
The 5.0 is a great improvement due to these changes and has very symmetrical clipping...
