These are great recommendations for regular plastic jewel cases, with removable art. But how would you suggest storing the increasingly popular type of CD booklets that have the plastic CD holder tray glued into the cardboard cover and liner info, as an integral cardboard book. This integral CD book would not fit a standard CD sleeve, and I would want to be able to access the cover art and track info that is all glued together.
Ideally, I am looking to have two storage systems. First, I'd like to be able to browse the removable covers and liner booklets, without the CD discs, in a series of compact, nicely bound books, easliy accessible from a library shelf as I listen to my hard drive music collection. Second, I'd like to store the CD discs in a simple sleeves and cases in my attic, as back-up, with some sort of cross-referenced number labelling system for ID. Has anyone found a handsome bound book with a plastic CD art sleeve system (4 to a page) that allows easy cover art/ booklet browsing, and with nice WAF? Those integral CD books still would seem to present a real challenge.
Thanks for the great ideas.
