Truth be told... they are not a visually appealing speaker. The Horn/waveguide on top looks almost foreboding.
Though the incredible reviews about their sound kind of negate the visual downside.
Another comment Clayton made last weekend was that the waveguide and aluminum base could be painted using automotive paint, and that different colored socks were being evaluated. I believe he mentioned that one customer already ordered a pair with a Ferrari red waveguide. (My attention was half on the music at the time, so I may be off in some of the details.)
I've always wanted to try open baffle (mated to DSP), as this design makes the most logical sense to me.

damit George... These are the 2nd coming, though I am a Jew and agnostic plus a smidgen of Irish catholic... , are they the best speakers that have ever graced your ear canals?mike
