I have this combo for sale. The LPA is basically no more than two months old, but I had to get rid of the box as it was just too huge, so local sale is a must. The LMC-1 I have the box for so I could ship this one. It is a few months older than its cousin. I decided to simplify with a mid-fi receiver, so I am selling these two.
I am a bit torn because they sound so damn good. Quite honestly the preamp when used in bypass, which only adds remote controlable volume is as transparent as higher end gear. The amp is no slouch either. It basically equals the UcD in performance and only differs in a preference sort of way. Its a hint warmer than the UcD's and bass is a pinch richer.
Emotiva is having a sale on these right now, I realize that, and I have to compete with that. At the same time these are basically new and I'd rather not give them away. Asking $375 for the LMC-1 and $400 for the LPA-1 (local p/u).
