Killer deal  :duh: :thumb:. This was a great preamp at its time, and I'm sure it still is. Very clean FET sound.  I remember the enclosure was a beautiful anodized aluminum. Eric Lauchli is a gifted designer based out of Sacramento, CA. He used to design with Nelson Pass when they were both at Threshold Corporation.

These are pictures of the 2nd version. I don't know which version the author is selling but I listened to the original one 10 years ago, and it was still a great preamp.

If I didn't have a solid state preamp, I would pick this one up.

Last bump before Audiogon.
Mine looks like the pic above, except it's black. Look at the build quality (unfortunately you can't SEE the SOUND quality) for this price. Still $395. Check my Audiogon feedback (Richards).
Thanks for looking....

Hi Richard , I'm interested in the preamp and have some questions. First one is, does it have a remote that controls volume?
Thanks, Don

I borrowed this preamp from RichardS last summer. It sounds great and I remember it being in perfect condition, like brand new.

Sonny -- I don't know for sure which version, but it has the red display and someone suggested that it's therefore the first version. E-mail me if you want the serial # to contact Coda for more info, and I can e-mail pics to anyone who wants them.
I don't know its age, as I think I'm the third owner, but , as Rich said, it's in great shape (thanks for the plug, Rich).
