The system we are going to use at RMAF is SLOWLY coming together.
The new Eastern Electric tube mono-blocks just arrived in Chicago.
Bill sent me these photos of the M156.

They use the EL156 output tubes to deliver 160 watts

Brian shipped the V60s and VSS yesterday. They should arrive on Monday. He put 150 hours on them before shipping. The crossovers are built with Sonicaps.
All the room treatments are here courtesy of Ethan at RealTraps.
John Chapman of Bent Audio is sending down TWO new "pre-amps"
They have a central switching unit and separate level control units. They are connected with fiber optic cables. The level controls units are placed next to the amps. The switch can be placed next to the source components. One of the source units has a zero gain Burson Buffer built in. A pair of the control units are resistor based. The other pair use autoformers. These are both prototypes. The "production" units won't be available for some time, but these should give a good idea of what he is up to.
I will have a prototype of the "BOLDER" Buffer. There will be a Statement level SB3 playing all the music we have. Speaker cables and interconnects with be BOLDER. Mike Garner from TweakGeek will be loaning us some Bybee power cables and speaker purifiers. Tube dampers and isolation tweaks will be from Herbie's Audio Lab. Main rack is from Adona. Amp racks from Timbernation.
All music will be coming from a pair of 500 gig hard drives. If you have a certain piece you want to listen to, please bring us a CD and we will rip it.
Hopefully we can get everything to fit in the room and sounding decent by Friday at noon
