Keith-
Are you placing these filters on non-audio circuits?  If you are the first outlet vs. the last outlet on the same circuit doesn't matter, install the filters on the circuit and call it a day, we are making too much out of an easy plug and play install.  If I understand correctly you only have one model filter, placement vs. combination is not as critical as some of the other circuits we design with multiple models installed on the same circuit.  In your situation I would install the PE in appliance outlets to lower noise.  lamps, coffee makers, washers and dryers, window air conditioners, and refrigerators are all good examples.

Hi: I only have the PE's, seven total. So if placement is not as critical, how many PE's should I install per non audio circuit, is one enough?.Do I not plug any into my audio circuit?. This thing is waaay to complicated for just a plug-in!! Thanks, Keith

Sorry Keith.  Install 1 to 3 per all circuits is a good starting point.

I'm on some medication for the next few days. I'll test the reference power cords early next week. Can't tell squat right now.

Thanks Jen:
Since I only have 7 PE's....should I place them on circuits on the same phase, or something else?. I will need more PE's if I need to place 1 to 3 per all circuits, so I will just use the 7 for now. Thanks, Keith

I've been watching this thread as I'm intrigued by what the PE's could do for me, and noticed that Robin's posts had disappeared - this looks to be a strong possibilty for the reduced page count?

Where is a good source for odering Hubbell 5262? Do I use Hubbell duplex for A/V or for PEs too? Thanks.

Indeed, what has happened to Robin's (Satfrat's) posts? It has vanished into thin air! Robin, where art thou?

Best Regards
Dennis

Robin removed all his posts a couple months back, something else has happened???  Anyway, the pre-orders have started and we are now accepting orders for the July 7-12 batch of filters.

Philistine-
What kind of system?  Do you use other methods to filter a/c?  Need more info, send email with a detailed description and we can design something from that point.

vett93-
The Hubbells can also be used with the PE's.

Keith-
Install on the same phase.

vett93. Several make the 5262. I got mine here from Leviton because the strap and yoke are brass along with screws etc. http://www.onestopbuy.com/5262-I-8109.asp   Stay on line has them but some parts were bronze not brass. My guess 5262 is a good replacement for all cheap outlets most builders use.

When I use PEs for non-A/V circuits, does it matter which outlets I plug the PEs in? I am thinking to use one PE per noisy circuit like fridge, computer, etc.

Thanks.

This is spec for HBL5262
http://www.stayonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=7088

so far, this is a cheapest place to get HBL5262. Note that all of these are not cryoed parts.

Best not to speculate. No one answers Q's like Alan and Jen. Not every product is a home run, but I like all of mine and of course there is a 30 day return.

Sorry Keith.  Install 1 to 3 per all circuits is a good starting point.

Hi: This one is for anyone to answer! If I want to "target" my audio only circuit, I should first start putting ( In my case) PE's into my "non-audio" circuits first?. So when all my seven PE's are used up, I can then concentrate on installing more PE's into my audio circuit?. I had recently changed all (6) 20 cent receptacles to the $13.00 each Hubbell 8200 hospital grade duplexes specifically for the PE's, because the originals did not allow for "bottom wiring" in my audio room and it was suggested that I concentrate on my non-audio circuits first. Now I have $13x6=$78.00 tied up in duplexes that have no PE's plugged in them in my audio room!! Plus I was told to place the PE's on the same phase.....so is the "goal" when using these filters to have each circuit(both phases) non audio and audio "filtered" with these products, or will having the non-audio circuits using these enhancers somehow effect my audio circuits even though nothing is plugged in here!!!. Thanks, Keith

I am advised, but have not verified, that audio circle doubled the space for a page. This page seems much longer than usual to add some credence to it. The page count did go from about 60 down to about 30.
