zmanbands-
WOW that is a load off my mind, I would hate to think we had clients that were dissatisfied with our products, upset over return policies, or whatever.
Keith-
What is it that you are trying to do? Do you mind if I make a suggestion as the manufacture, lets install one filter for right now. Install the filter at the wall where your main power cord enters the Hubbell duplex. In this situation it is important to make sure all in-wall wiring is installed into the 4 bottom rear terminals ( 2 hot and 2 neutral side of the duplex) of the duplex outlet. Plug the PE into the bottom receptacle and plug the system into the top receptacle. That's it, do nothing more for the next 10 days. Report your results at that time and we will move on to the next install until you are 100% satisfied. Do you mind if I ask a question, our records indicate you purchased most of your filters several months ago, have you had install problems all this time?
Keith, the PE filters each circuit and phase differently. The main circuit is effected by the ringing frequency, noise cancellation, and power factor correction of a single filter. Non-audio circuits on the same phase will effect the frequency of the entire phase because all filters couple together to extend the filter bandwidth of the entire phase. Opposite phase installations also effect the sound of the system because each opposite phase installation filters the neutral side of the circuit. Inside your fuse/circuit panel the neutral wire and earth ground are tied together. In a 3 wire installation the PE is able to filter the earth ground and lower circuit crosstalk after the neutral is tied at the circuit panel. All circuits on both phases share the same earth ground bar inside the circuit panel.
