Knowing what I know now.... and if I hadn't just bought a Quantum AC Ltd.... I would definitely be buying a studio tomorrow...!

That makes two of us...it's kind of disappointing IMO

The Studio has been dated for a July release and noted on our web site for last several months.

The OEM sale is for one day only, it will never be offered at the sale price again.

Alan - can you tell us what your latest and greatest power/noise/emi-rf tips are for a media server computer?  You've mentioned or alluded to a few in past posts and was curious on what your current thinking (pardon the pun) is, particularly now that you have the various Infinity DIY's available. (i.e., what would you strap the DIY's to, use a Ref power cable, IEC?; if using USB vs Firewire output vs PCI(e) card; what if it's a small form factor computer like a Mini that uses DC input?).
Thanks!

Alan - thanks for the extensive write-up.  Lots of food for thought and great ideas!  Sounds like you've put more than a little time into creating a quiet computer...   :thumb:

This is a public service announcement.  The Infinity Speaker Cable II Filters (which I guess is now called the Infinity SC Quantum Filters) does work with Synergistic's Tesla active speaker cables. The Infinity SC Quantum filters arrived today along with three Infinity DIY Filters.  First thing first.  I wanted to evaluate the Infinity SC Quantum Filters but I needed some sort of judgement criteria.  So I listen to the effect of Synergistic's Tesla speaker cables while activating and deactivating the speaker cable.  The affect is modest, I would say like getting alittle clearer sonic overall picture.  Next I hooked up the Infinity SC Quantum Filter.  Wow!  The affect is much more pronounced.  Yes, the highs obtained a much more purer tone while also standing out, like if someone had flip a brilliance switch, like hearing live music.  Next I placed one Infinity DIY filter in my CD player, amp and circuit breaker.  The sound immediately closed in, so I know the system with the Infinity DIY Filters is going to that a few weeks to break in.

Did you pick up the Bybee option for the SC?  Refresh my memory it has been one of those weeks...  The Infinity SC is without Bybee and the Quantum SC is with Bybee.

Yes, I placed my order for the Infinity Speaker Cable II Filters (which contains Bybees).  On the Infinity Speaker Cable Filters that I received you wrote the word Quantum, which is, I guess their new name.

Correct...Quantum SC.

Keep the updates coming as the filter breaks in over the next 4 to 5 weeks.

Hi Guys!

Checking in to see what's new in the Circle.  I've been bored out of my mind since the surgery, and have finally nagged Alan into updating his website in preparation for our Annual Labor Day Weekend Extravaganza sale.  (translate this as, I updated the website )  Plenty of time to check out my handywork before then, let me know how I did (typical woman, I just love compliments )

Hi Mike-
Everything is on sale with the exception of Infinity CBF and standard Infinity (they are already priced as low as possible).  All sale items will be marked down 15-20% depending on the item.

What are you looking for?
