meridian 502 pre-amp

meridian 502 pre-amp

I am considering this pre-amp for my system and wondered if anyone has same. would appreciate any feedback you may have

I owned one for years and found it functionally excellent.  It tended toward a "dry" sound.  Very accurate, coupled with a class A amp, it provided very nice tonal balance. If I was running a class A/B or B or T amp I'd stay away. Excellent build quality, very flexible, I'd definitely recommend given my other comments.

Thanks Dan. I have a Bryston 3b/sst power amp and this pre-amp was recommended.
