Chickadee dee dee:

Useless trivia alert: The number of 'dees' in a Chickadee's 'Chicka dee dee dee' indicates the degree of threat

Nice shots everyone

rajacat - great 'yellowleg'  - i like the one with the near perfect reflection in the water. Good composition

dilznoofus: Beautiful birds - what lens did you snipe those guys with?  It looks pretty telephoto.  Did you get some flash on there too?

JohnR - thanks for the comments :)

Really nice photos, RooX.  :thumb:

I recently purchased a D200 I'm still getting to know, and though I don't have a true telephoto yet, I'm quite satisfied with the Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 that came with.

The D200 was a big step up for me, and I'm enjoying it immensely.  I just wish the learning curve was a little steeper.  That, or that life would slow just a bit so I could spend more time with the camera!

That flamingo kinda looks like a dinosaur in that shot.  Like a lurking pink raptor or something.  I like the blue-headed bird at the end too.
