Are there discrete on/off codes for the PLC-1 remote passive?  (Discrete on/off codes are basically essential for a programmable remote.)

There is no on/off function (the unit is on when plugged in).
I don't know if most programmable remotes will work as we do not use standard RC5, NEC, etc. codes. If your remote learns/duplicates the pulse code, then it should work.

Thanks, that makes sense.  I was under the impression that there would be an "on" and and "off", but since there is not, that makes programming the remote easier!
