A Pathos Acoustics Classic One Mk3 hybrid integrated is employed as a power amp w/ a state of the art preamp.  Speakers are 8-Ohm ASA Pro Monitors (Esotec drivers but unlike Dynaudio system w/ similar architecture).

Would very much appreciate hearing opinions from anyone who auditioned the Luminance KST-150, esp at home.

Hi Mr. Ribbon,

  I have that amp, KST-150.
  So far I have only heard it on Mark Danial Aragon speakers, a/b sessions compared with Eagle 2c. one afternoon in Denver.
  The music was mesmerizing with the Luminance, flowing sweet transparent highs, midrange and firm bass.
  Those speakers are 4 ohm and 85db sensitivity I think,  and have the reputation of being power hungry
  as I understand it.
 As a musician I have to say that the emotion of presentation was wonderful for a wide variety of demanding musical cuts. Mui Goosebumps! We listened and time passed unnoticed!
 
  I only see sparse comments most audioweb sites, but Sam Telling gushes in May  Stereophile, for what           its worth.

Thanks Rod.

I enjoy the Pathos integrated as much as Sam did.  When the Pathos was acquired an integrated was necessary because no preamp was employed; with the preamp in the system the integrated's preamp stage is unecessary, hence the interest in the Luminance.  I intend to do a direct swap shortly, my Pathos for a Luminance.
