How did you pay for the speakers? If it was CC, I would go to them and explain the situation. I am sure you can get something from them, but if it was more than 6 months ago, that would be a problem. But then, you can claim that the whole claims process messed you up with the time frame.
I am sure you can also do something about their lack of customer service. There must be a way, but then, I am afraid that this post itself might be considered "dirty laundry" am I wrong, because it does involve a company and a transaction outside of AC.
Hell with it, anyway, Gershman Acoustics is not too well known, so word of mouth can go a long way, if they do not happen to realize it.
I own a pair of their speakers, they are great, but then I have never have had to deal with this sort of problem. Sorry to hear this.
