Simple Universal Remote for Audio

I'm looking for a very simple remote, similar to this:

However, this remote, like most, only controls video-related gear.

I have a Musical Fidelity X-150 integrated amp that has volume, input selector, and mute remotely controllable.... I do not have the remote for it and was thinking I'd get a new one.

I'd like a 'skip forward' button for a cd or dvd player that was playing music if possible.  So, that's not a lot of buttons.  If I had nothing but volume up/down and skip forward/backward that would be adequate.  I will find an X-150's remote if I have to but I did not realize what a big ask this was until I started searching for one...

Is there such a thing as a simplistic remote that is programmable for audio equipment?

Look at one from Logitec/Harmony...They are completely programmable from an online database...very cool... I used go have  your amp and cd player also and this remote was great. I have the 659 but there are many other models available

Why not contact Musical Fidelity and get a remote from them?

Don't underestimate One For All - they have a great database of codes and seem to have good customer service.  Write them an e-mail with your list of equipment and ask if it can handle it.

Otherwise, a fully programmable remote is your option, but I don't know of any with such a simple button layout.

Thanks for the advice! :)  I'll definitely email OneforAll... I've had good luck with them in the past on video stuff.. If I can't get a $10 cheapie that works, I'll go the $60-100 route with a replacement MF remote.
