Lee Taylor Speakers

Wondering if anyone out there has heard any of his offerings.  I know he has built cabinets for DIY, but he offers what look to be very nice complete speakers.  You can see his speakers at www.taylorspeakers.com If anyone knows anything about them let me know.

Thanks,
Vince

Welcome Vince,

Nice find.  North Creek is well respected, uses top drawer components, and Lee Taylor for cabinets, but don't know about Taylor speakers themselves though.

I don't think I have ever read about Taylor's work here on AC, but you might try Audiogon, where I have seen numerous posts, both classifieds, and user comments.

I know that one set of his small speakers were also reviewed by an online magazine with a presence here - the name escapes me, but I recall that they do monthly updates when their ezine comes out, and I DO read it!

Ahem, the search function has delivered for us!

Affordable Audio is the ezine, and back here they reviewed a small pair of his speakers.

Mark, Thanks for trying

Yeah totally different company but thanks for helping!  I have to admit I have never had this much trouble finding out info in regards to sound and overall build on a speaker before.  I have exchanged brief messages with Lee himself but like anyone I'm sure he is bias.  The cabinets are really solid if you look at the specs each speakers weight is considerable for there size. I always appreciate a solid cabinet.  We all know there is so much more that goes into good speaker than just carpentry!  Thats why I am very curious,  If they sound as good as they look we might have a great find here at very reasonable prices and top shelf parts.  I encourage everyone to research.  This could be the next Salk Sound or Tyler Acoustics   The Salk Sound Veracity HT3 is a Dream speaker of mine!!!!!!!!!!!

All I know is that Lee used to build cabinets for North Creek's speakers...
Never knew that Lee was actually designing his own stuff...
Haven't heard any, but would definitely be curious to...
