(Disclaimer: I have never tried something remotely similar, this is pure common sense and scepticism...)Am I right in thinking this umbilical cord is the one between a power supply and the amp?A short cable that transfers nothing but low voltage DC?That sounds like complete snake oil, doesn't it?How can this insignificant piece of copper wire, that transfers stable DC, with minimal fluctuations have ANY (and I mean ANY) impact on the sound?The actual audio signal is very far removed from this cable, right?A stable DC supply going IN to this cable should be practically identical to whatever comes out of it, regardless of OFC copper or what have you. But then again, what do I know.
