HI: Just wondering if I can use these http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/Product.aspx?language=en-CA&catalog=Online&category=Audio+Plugs+%26+Jacks+Adapters&product=2740501 from my c.d. player left and right outs to feed  an integrated amp and also a headphone amp, simultaneously, without any harm to the c.d. player, rather than rehooking rca's up to listen to one or the other?! Thanks, Huck

Thanks! Now does it matter if both integrated and head-amp are both turned on together, or should I turn the "unused" one "off"? Thanks, Huck

I am all ears on this issue also.

It won't matter  think of it this way, if you have a preamp with dual outputs, these dual outputs are really just a second output split off of one output, like this y connector you are buying is doing. With this set up, you would not worry if the power amp and headphone amp (each one hooked up to dual outputs) would you? Anyway  hook them up, don't worry if one or both is on.
