IronLion's shot really steals the show so far.  It looks like it could be right out of a glossy magazine ad.  All sorts of room up top for copy and everything.  Heh!

Now that's what I call a wood-trim interior! :thumb:  Actually that's gone beyond "trim", it's just a wood interior!

Nice angles turbo, they create good dynamic lines.  I like the second shot especially, it has what my shot has and what cars are all about: motion.  The upper frequencies, or, I mean, the whites seem like they could be pushed a little more in Photoshop to make it pop some more.

Thanks ... makes sense, the first shot is processed from a .raw, the second is just a resized .jpg right out of camera.

This ain't grandma's Beetle!

That's why I was winking when I asked the question.   It's actually not a kit car. It's a one off built from scratch.
Too much stuff to write about on this car, but here are the highlights. 100" Wheelbase, 1500lbs, fully independent rear suspension with inboard brakes. Magnesium uprights. All suspension points are aircraft grade stainless spherical rod ends. Coilover suspension. 375 h.p. Ford 302 c.i. smallblock. Tremec T-5 close ratio gearbox. Body is made from carbon fiber/S glass/Kevlar. Chassis is chromoloy 4130 squaretube/ semi-stressed skin panel.

And it goes like stink!

Cheers

it reminded me of the caterham's.  their top-range car has "only" 260hp, weighs 1200 lbs, & does 0-60 in 3.1 seconds.  it can be yours for ~$65k:

Here are a couple from a photo shoot a few months back.

Nice! My uncle had a 80's rx-7 when I grew up. It was also white!
I guess there is enough under the bonnet to make one's head spin, right?
I've had this sort of fantasy to one day put a 600 BHP Hurley Quad Rotor Engine in one of these beauties.
At least a RX-777 Tripple Rotor Engine.
Again! White is the color for these cars! Nice!

Something that I shot-I know it's not a car.... but close enough.

Images are to be used in an Ad for DMX bikes. Client loved the shots!

A buddy of mine stopped by real quick today to show me what he just picked up to replace his Boxster S.

He drove this crazy thing all the way up from Arkansas!

He could only stay for a couple of minutes, but he's gonna come by next week and I'm gonna go for a spin in it.

Coolness!  :thumb:
