Here's my favorite automobile shot, taken a few years ago outside the rear window of my friend's A4.  That's a Mexican restaurant we're passing...

Thanks Levi, the fancy ones you'll see in automobile advertisements are probably shot with a gyroscope-stabilized mounting system of some sort that delivers very good stability which would allow for a slower shutter speed.  In my case, I had the camera aimed by holding it on the end of my tripod and I shot it off with a remote shutter release; some shots were very messy due to road bumps, but we got lucky with this one.

Where is Deal's Gap?  Sounds like a nice place to do curves.

All photos taken with a POS HP digital camera at Deal's Gap in the spring of 2003, I think.

A HOG

Thats actually a Boss Hoss (with 350cu in Chevy motor). One of the local guys has one. I went to ride it and sitting at an idle I revved up the motor. The torque from the motor revving almost tossed me from the bike. I promptly said "no thanks" and got off. At the time I rode an Ultra Classic, a big bike in its own rights. I did the same with a Ducati 996. It handled so well and went so fast that I didn't trust myself behind the handlebars. It made me fearless which is scary on a bike.

Hey!

Excellent shot IronLion. :D Last year my brother asked me to take this kind of shot with his pimped "sleeper" '92 Accord EX around NYC before he move to San Diego. But I never got time to do it and now he's in LA now. :(  We only did a regular shots :D

He told me that over there there is a Honda club where they have gathering bigger than here in NY area. :D

    Anyway, nice job.  :thumb:

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:
