Goofy Giraffe

I went to the Canberra Zoo last weekend. My niece loves going there. I thought I might use the opportunity to experiment with a TC-200 teleconvertor along with my 85mm f1.4 lens on my D40. To be honest... I wasn't all that happy with the results. I figured this might be the case, but for something like AUD25 off ebay I figured it was worth finding out :) I thought these shots here were quite funny anyway.

Cool!  That's a vantage point you hardly ever see of a giraffe.  What a face!  That last one looks downright cartoonish with that frumpy grin.  Are those three protuberances on its head considered horns?  Weird lookin' animal!
